Singer B Praak was among the first celebrities to call out YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia after his controversial remark on India’s Got Talent went viral. Praak slammed Ranveer’s comment as “ghatiya” and claimed he had backed out of an appearance on his podcast. This led to speculation that he was never invited in the first place.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, the singer has finally set the record straight. When asked if he was invited to Ranveer’s show, Praak said, “I liked watching his podcasts and I really wanted to go on his show. Our teams had been discussing the dates for six-seven months. Sometimes, he would be busy and travelling, and sometimes I would be."

Although B Praak initially criticised Ranveer for his comment, he has since taken a more forgiving stance. He admitted the remark was wrong but believes that sincere apologies deserve a second chance.
"It was wrong, but I think if someone is genuinely apologetic, they should be forgiven. Sometimes we say things without thinking, but no one should be hurt by it. If you forgive someone, you become the bigger person," the singer said.
Ranveer Allahbadia controversy
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court granted Ranveer interim protection from arrest but barred him from airing any shows until further notice. The Court also criticised his actions, calling them "irresponsible" and "condemnable." Ranveer Allahbadia has not yet commented on the matter. He is expected to record his statement with the police, and according to reports, the Supreme Court has ruled that he will not be accompanied by his lawyer during the interrogation.
