New Delhi: Star Plus’ ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’ has managed to strike a chord with the viewers. The musical drama starring Mohit Malik and Aakriti Sharma turned out to be a breath of fresh air among the saas-bahu sagas and supernatural shows. The show has witnessed a drop in its TRPs since the past few months. We had earlier informed you that ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’ will be shifted to 6:30pm slot to make way for Vikram Singh Chauhan and Aditi Sharma’s ‘Yehh Jadu Hai Jin Ka’.
‘KKB’ currently airs at 8:30pm on Star Plus and it will move to an early evening slot soon. Despite the change in time slot, the makers are all set to spice up things by introducing a leap. Yes, you heard that right.
According to a report in an entertainment portal, ‘Kulfi Kumar Bajewala’ will soon take a leap.
The leap in the show will take place post Diwali 2019, the report in Tellychakkar. While producer Gul Khan had earlier denied the rumours of the leap, the report said that the show will soon witness a time jump.
As reported earlier, Tunisha Sharma would replace Aakriti Sharma as grown-up Kulfi. The actress, last seen in ‘Internet Wala Love’ opposite Shivin Narang, was rumoured to be playing the lead in spin-off of ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’.
Talking about the show, 'Kulfi' has successfully completed 400 episodes. The lead Mohit Malik in a statement said, ''“I have been living Sikander, and 400 episodes maybe one celebration, but each emotion, each happiness and each and every tear has been a journey. Rarely do you get to work with children who bring so much innocence and fun on the sets.
