After TV Actor Manmeet Grewal Commits Suicide, Local Gurudwara Makes Arrangement To Send Grieving Wife Back To Punjab Amidst Lockdown!

Last week Aadat Se Majboor fame TV actor Manmeet Grewal's death left everyone in shock . The 32-year-old actor, who was also a casting director committed suicide on Friday night by hanging himself from a ceiling fan due to financial crisis. Following his last rites a prayer was conducted at the Kharghar, Gurudwara for the deceased soul. And now according to a report published in SpotboyE, the same Gurudwara has come forward to help the late actor's wife in reaching her hometown in Punjab. The local Gurudwara is helping her in the process of travelling amidst the ongoing lock down situation along with Manmeet's close friend, Manjit Singh. The report further adds that the Pradhaan Ji of the Gurudwara, Jasvender Singh Sahani is playing a key role in rolling out things smoothly for Manmeet's wife. Talking about the same, his close friend Manjit Singh told SpotboyE.com, "I am still here in Kharghar making all the arrangements for her to go back to her hometown in Punjab. But the whole procedure is taking a lot of time as due to the lockdown, flights and trains are not available. She will be travelling by a private car but we are waiting for an NOC and police permissions." He added, "Gurudwara committee has come ahead to help and is spending some 60-70 K to make sure she reaches home safely. As she is disturbed, one more female who also belongs to Punjab will travel with her. All the arrangements are being done by the Gurudwara itself, so, I am quite relaxed about her security." It was Manmeet's wife who found him hanging by a dupatta (scarf) in the bedroom from a ceiling fan. She tried saving him but did not get get any help from neighbours who feared the actor may have contracted the coronavirus. A security guard in the building finally came forward and cut the dupatta to bring down the body. Manmeet was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital. Manmeet appeared in the comedy show "Aadat Se Majboor", which ran from October 2017 to February 2018. He is survived by his wife, besides his parents, who stay in Punjab. The couple got married two years ago.
