Koffee With Karan Promo Out: Alia Bhatt Back On ‘Kontroversial’ Couch; Kareena Kapoor Asked About Feud With Ameesha Patel
Kareena Kapoor is seen getting teased by Karan Johar about her past beef with Ameesha Patel on 'Koffee with Karan' season 8.
New Delhi: The next guests on 'Koffee with Karan' season 8 are Kareena Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. They were shown spilling the beans on the couch in the most recent promo for the show. Alia Bhatt refers to the Koffee with Karan couch as "controversial with a K" in the video. Kareena Kapoor is also seen getting teased by Karan Johar about her past beef with Ameesha Patel.
For the uninitiated, Alia is Kareena's sister-in-law because she is the cousin of Alia's husband, Ranbir Kapoor. In the latest teaser, Kareena breaks out, announcing, "I am not anyone's bhabhi!" while she and Alia are trying to figure out who is jethani and who is bhabhi.

After that, Karan urges Kareena for reasons for her absence from the 'Gadar 2' victory celebration. She is promptly reminded by Karan that it could be due to her "history" with Ameesha Patel, the main protagonist in the movie.
Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan asked that Kareena Kapoor quit 'Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai' three days prior to the filming beginning, Ameesha revealed earlier this year. "Actually, she didn’t back out. From what Rakesh ji told me, he asked her to leave the film because they were having differences," the actor told Bollywood Bubble.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were present for the Diwali party that Kareena threw at her Mumbai home.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor last featured alongside Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in 'Jaane Jaan'. As for Alia Bhatt, she recently took home the National Award for Best Actress for her role in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Her most recent appearance was in Netflix's 'Heart of Stone', her first film in Hollywood.
