Karan Veer Mehra was crowned the winner of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 14' as he beat fellow finalists Gashmeer Mahajani and Krishna Shroff in the grand finale. The season made headlines not only for the intense stunts but also for a heated controversy involving former contestant Asim Riaz. The conflict stemmed from Asim’s behavior towards the show's host, Rohit Shetty, and his remarks about other contestants, which led to his exit from the show. 

Karan Veer Mehra says Asim Riaz needs medical help

In a recent interview with DNA, referring to Asim’s altercation with Rohit Shetty, Karan Veer said, “Ek toh bewakoofi ki itne bade show mein itne bade aadmi (Rohit Shetty) ke saath aisi badtameezi ki. Mujhe aur bhi galat lagta hai uske fans ke liye, who are in huge numbers and support him (He was stupid to have argued with such a big person like Rohit Shetty and misbehaved with him. I even feel bad for his fans).” 

He further elaborated on Asim’s perception of his own fame, saying, "He's living in his bubble that this fandom is forever. He thinks that his fans will always be there for him even in the next 10-20 years. He's living in his own bubble, in his Barbie world. He needs to get a reality check, and somewhere he needs medical help, this is what I feel. Everyone has their opinions." 

What Asim had said about Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 incident

Asim Riaz had previously spoken out about the incident during a performance in Dubai, claiming that the show’s creators manipulated the situation during the editing process. He said, “They say somebody is ruining internet. It's okay. It's an action, there's reaction. But they only show my reaction. They don't show action. They chop the clips and they show my reactions.” 

The 'Bigg Boss 13' runner-up had an altercation with the contestants, calling them losers, and also argued with the host, Rohit Shetty which led to his expulsion.   

Meanwhile, Karan won Rs 20 lakh cash prize, and a brand-new Hyundai Creta after defeating Krishna Shroff in the final round.
