'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11' Winner Arjun Bijlani To Host New Season Of 'India's Got Talent'
Arjun Bijlani, who was last seen as a participant in 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11', will host the upcoming season of 'India's Got Talent'.
New Delhi: Popular reality show 'India's Got Talent' is all set to return to the small screen with a new season. Unlike previous editions, the soon-to-be launched season will air on Sony TV instead of Colors channel.
According to a report in Times Of India, the makers of ‘India’s Got Talent’ have finalized the host for the show. Popular TV star Arjun Bijlani, who has featured in several hit daily soaps, will don the hat of a host for ‘IGT’.
Arjun To Host ‘India’s Got Talent’ After Winning ‘KKK 11’
The ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’ winner will be seen hosting the reality show, which will feature contestants across different age groups. He previously hosted two seasons of ‘Dance Deewane’ and ‘Kitchen Champion’ on Colors channel.
Arjun defeated Divyanka Tripathi and Vishal Aditya Singh in a nail-biting finale stunt to lift the winner’s trophy of ‘KKK 11’. He took home a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh and a swanky new car during the star-studded finale.
TV Stars Who Hosted 'India's Got Talent'
The likes of Nakuul Mehta, Sidharth Shukla, Bharti Singh, Rithvik Dhanjani and Gautam Rode have hosted different seasons of IGT. Rithvik and Bharti hosted the eighth season, which was won by Javed Khan.
Meet 'India's Got Talent' Judges
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and rapper Badshah are the new additions to the talent-based show. Karan Johar and Malaika Arora used to judge 'IGT' along with Kirron Kher when it aired on Colors TV.
Kirron, who is part of the show since its inception, will return to TV after undergoing successful treatment for cancer. “India’s Got Talent has always been close to my heart. This being my 9th year with this prestigious talent reality show, returning as a jury member is a wonderful experience. It feels like I am coming back home. Year on year, India’s Got Talent is known to encourage and put the spotlight on varied and exceptional talent from across the country and every time, I am left in awe as the quality of talent just keeps getting better and better," Kher said in a statement as quoted as saying by IANS.
