KBC 16: Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the Junior’s Week special on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, where young contestants bring their innocence and curiosity to the quiz show. During a recent episode, a young participant expressed admiration for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s beauty and took the opportunity to ask Big B for some beauty tips.  

Contestant praises Aishwarya Bachchan

As Amitabh Bachchan scanned contestant Pranusha Thamke’s wish list on the show, he noticed that the first name mentioned was his daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai, followed by interests like K-pop. Praising Aishwarya’s beauty, the young contestant remarked, “Sir, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan bahut khoobsurat hain (Sir, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is very beautiful).” 

The Shahenshah of Bollywood couldn’t help but smile at the remark and simply responded, “Haan, hum jaante hain” (Yes, I know).  

The contestant then went a step further and asked for beauty tips, saying, “Khoobsurati jatane ke liye shabd kam pad jaaye, itni khoobsurat hain. Sir, aap toh unke saath hi rehte hain, koi tips batao khoobsurati ke.” (Words fall short to describe her beauty; she is so beautiful. Sir, you live with her, please share some beauty tips.) 

What Amitabh Bachchan said

In response, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Dekhiye, ek baat bataye aapko. Chehre ki khoobsurati, woh kuch saalon mein mit jaayegi, lekin aapke dil ki khoobsurati, woh sabse ahem rehti hai. Dil ki khoobsurati jeewan bhar rahegi aapke paas. Aapne dil ko khoobsurat banaiye. Humko toh lag raha hai bahut khoobsurat hai aapka dil.” (Look, let me tell you one thing. Facial beauty fades in a few years, but the beauty of your heart is what truly matters. The beauty of your heart will stay with you forever. So, focus on making your heart beautiful, and I believe you already have a beautiful heart.) 

Aishwarya and Abhishek’s relationship

Aishwarya Rai married Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan’s son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, in April 2007. The couple shares a daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. Last year, there were rumours about trouble in their marriage, with speculation about a possible separation making rounds on social media. However, their recent public appearances together have put all such rumours to rest, reassuring their fans that all is well between them.
