Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2: Original Mr. Bajaj Ronit Roy reacts on Karan Singh Grover bagging the role!

While it was earlier reported that Karan Wahi will step into the shoes of Ronit Bose Roy playing 'Mr. Bajaj' in the currently running reboot version of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', there has been last minute change and Karan Singh Grover has been finalised for it, say reports.

Hina Khan aka 'Komolika' has already shot for the last episode of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'(starring Erica Fernandes-Parth Samthaan in lead roles) as she takes a long break from the show to shoot her Bollywood film by Vikram Bhatt and before she does that, she's in headlines today as she slays her red carpet debut at Cannes Film Festival 2019[View PICS Here!]. While 'Komolika' goes missing from the TV screens for the coming months, the buzz surrounding the entry of Mr. Rishabh Bajaj on the show was started by Ekta Kapoor teasing fans about it recently. It was earlier reported that Karan Wahi would step into the shoes of Ronit Roy(the original Mr. Bajaj) but as per the latest reports, there was a last minute change and it is finally Karan Singh Grover who has bagged the role instead. Karan, who's now married to Bipasha Basu, was last seen in Zee TV's 'Qubool Hai' and this would be his comeback on the small screen after doing Bollywood films like 'Alone' and 'Hate Story 3'. Interestingly, Karan was also part of original 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' back in 2005 when he played the role of Anurag(Cezanne Khan)-Prerna's(Shweta Tiwari) son-in-law 'Sharad Gupta' married to their daughter 'Sneha Basu'(played by Karan's ex-wife Jennifer Winget).

That would be a cool homecoming for Karan as he now plays his onscreen step father-in-law. And how does Ronit Roy react to the news!? Upon learning about Karan playing his role of 'Mr. Bajaj' in the reboot version of 'KZK', Ronit Bose Roy told an entertainment portal - "I’m very happy for Karan bagging the role of Bajaj. I think he’ll do a great job. My good wishes are with him. May he and kzk2 attain much greater heights of popularity than I did." ALSO - REVEALED! The portal also claims that Ekta Kapoor found Karan Singh Grover more suitable to play Mr. Bajaj than Karan Wahi. Also informing Pinkvilla about the same, a source had said that,"Karan is currently in the process of signing the contract and has to begin shooting from May 17th. The character will make an entry soon into the show and it will be interesting to see how KSG’s chemistry pans out with Erica."

While Ksg is yet to sign the papers, it looks almost confirmed that we would see the hot hunk portraying Mr. Bajaj. How do you feel will Erica and Karan's jodi look onscreen?
