Kapil Sharma Shares That His First Salary Was Rs 500, Here's What He Bought From It
Kapil Sharma discussed his first salary with guests Raveena Tandon, Guneet Monga, and Sudha Murty.
New Delhi: On one of the episodes of ‘The Kapil Sharma show’, Kapil Sharma discussed his first salary with guests Raveena Tandon, Guneet Monga, and Sudha Murty. Kapil hosted a Mother's Day special and invited three powerful ladies in their respective fields to join in the show. They all also shared some amusing experiences regarding their respective first paychecks.
During the chat, Kapil asked Raveena Tandon about her first job and how she spent the money. Raveena remarked, "I earned Rs 500-600, that I earned from an ad. My mom had this old tape recorder on which we used to listen to old songs every morning. The recorder wasn't working well so when I got my first paycheck I bought her a new one as a gift."
Guneet Monga also said that she did many jobs and her first salary was Rs 5000 when she was an intern for Pan Nalin.
The show's judge Archana Puran Singh then asked Kapil about his first job. Kapil revealed that he worked part-time at the telephone booth. He said that his first earning was Rs 500 and he bought a cassette player for himself. He said in Hindi, "I used to love old songs and I didn't want to ask for money from my father so I bought it from my first salary and also bought other things for mom."
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma was most recently seen in Nandita Das directed film, ‘Zwigato’. The movie was released last month and included Shahana Goswami in the starring role. His film 'Zwigato' was also screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival, where it received positive reviews.
