For the uninitiated,  Sidhu was sacked from 'The Kapil Sharma Show' following a major uproar over his comments on the Pulwama terror attack, which took place last year. Although, he condemned the attacks, he was embroiled into a controversy after he asked, "For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?" His remarks didn't go down well with the netizens, who demanded his ouster from the comedy show. The channel decided to bring in Archana Puran Singh to replace Sidhu as the presenter of 'The Kapil Sharma Show'. Kapil Sharma, who is currently in Punjab, shared a photo from the Golden Temple. He can be seen offering prayers in the picture.
'The Kapil Sharma Show', which is produced by Salman Khan's production house, is running successfully on Sony TV. Remo D'Souza, Salman Yusuf Khan and other dances graced the sets of the show during the last weekend. The comedy show also stars Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and Sumona Chakravarti, who play different characters in 'TKKS'.
