Mumbai: After entertaining the viewers for over nine months, ‘Indian Idol 12’ will air its much-awaited grand finale on Independence Day 2021. The makers of the show have promised to provide blockbuster entertainment in the form of a ‘12 hour-long grand finale’. For the first time in the history of the Indian television, a non-fiction show will telecast its finale from 12pm till midnight.
‘Indian Idol 2020’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their TV sets, courtesy the power-packed performances of the contestants. The participants of the popular reality show have won several hearts with their singing skills.
The grand finale of ‘Indian Idol 12’ will run for twelve hours on Independence Day 2021 (August 15, 2021) on Sony TV. While other reality shows including 'Super Dancer', 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and 'Bigg Boss' run for close to four months, 'Indian Idol 12' broke all the records as it received several extensions.
Meet Top Six Indian Idol 12 Finalists
Arunita Kanjilal, Pawandeep Rajan, Mohd Danish, Nihal Tauro, Sayli Kamble and Shanmukha Priya have emerged as the finalists of the show. One of them will lift the winner’s trophy of ‘Indian Idol 12’. The finalists have decided to take things a notch higher by giving their best performance in the finale.
The makers have already shot some of the sequences of the grand finale. Interestingly, the winner will be announced live during the last episode. It remains to be seen which contestant will become the winner of 'Indian Idol 12'.
