'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' Star Neil Bhatt Tests Positive For COVID-19, Makers To Introduce Parallel Track In His Absence

Neil Bhatt aka Virat from 'Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' is observing home quarantine after testing postive for COVID-19.

Popular TV actor Neil Bhatt, who plays the role of Virat Chavan in Star Plus’ ‘Ghum Hain Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’, has tested positive for COVID-19. The makers of the show issued a statement to announce that Bhatt has quarantined himself after testing positive for the virus.

The cast and crew underwent a COVID-19 test after the male lead of the show tested positive. The producers, Rajesh Ram Singh and Pradeep Kumar, have also informed the BMC. The sets of the popular daily soap will be sterilized as a precautionary measure.

Rajesh Ram Singh, while talking to SpotboyE, revealed that the creatives would be working on a new parallel track for their show. They have decided to put the Holi 2021 sequence on hold as their male lead won’t be available for the next few days.

Neil went into home quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19. The actor is yet to share a post on social media about his health.

Earlier this year, Neil confirmed his relationship with co-star Aishwarya Sharma, who plays Pakhi in ‘Ghum Hain Kisike Pyaar Mein’. The ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ actor shared love-filled photos from their roka ceremony on social media. The two lovebirds were seen beaming with joy in the cute pictures. The couple fell in love while working with each other on the sets of the show.

Celebs who recently tested positive for COVID-19

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been diagnosed with Coronavirus. Earlier this week, his mother Neetu Singh shared a post to give an update about the 'Sanju' actor's health. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was busy with the shoot of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', has also tested positive for the virus.

Ranbir’s girlfriend Alia Bhatt has confirmed that she tested negative for Coronavirus. She has resumed work from March 11, 2021 after consulting her doctors.
