Ghanshyam Nayak Death: Fans paid a tribute to the talented actor, who played the role of Nattu Kaka in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.
Mumbai: Veteran actor Ghanshyam Nayak, who was known for his role in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, passed away on Sunday (October 3). He was 77. The senior artist was fondly known for playing the character of Nattu Kaka in the hit sitcom, which stars Dilip Joshi in a lead role.
Several netizens took to social media to mourn the demise of Nayak, who won hearts with his performance in ‘TMKOC’. The fans paid a tribute to the actor and remembered his iconic scenes with co-star Dilip Joshi in the popular show.

One Twitter user wrote, "I don't know what to write. This man never failed to bring a laugh on my face. He and his character Natu Kaka were so iconic. Thank you for all those laughs and sweet memories sir. Enjoy jalebi fafda with Kavi sir in heaven. Will miss you a lot."

Ghanshyam Nayak underwent a surgery in 2020 to remove knots from his neck. Earlier this year, he told an entertainment portal that he was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors had found new knots in the actor’s neck.

Asit Modi, who is the producer of ‘Taarak Mehta’, told ABP News that Nayak didn’t shoot for the show since the past 3-4 months due to his poor health.
