Gautam Rode shares FIRST LOOK as Kathak Dancer from his play 'Aarohi'

TV hunk Gautam Rode was last seen in Star Bharat's 'Kaal Bhairav Rahasya (season 2)'

One of the most handsome TV actors Gautam Rode who has won fans over with shows like 'Saraswatichandra', 'Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani', 'Suryaputra Karn' and 'Kaal Bhairav Rahasya' will don an all different avatar in his next project which is a play titled 'Aarohi'. Gautam will play a kathak dancer in the play that will be premiering in Mumbai later this month. Gautam shared his first look in striking a kathak move and nailing in the kathak costume. Gautam captioned the picture - "Thrilled to announce my first venture in theatre, 'Aarohi'. Being a non dancer and essaying the role of a Kathak dancer makes me excited yet nervous! Here's the first look ... stay tuned while I take you through my journey! [smiling face with halo emoji] #AAROHI". “Theatre is for you if you truly want to act and test yourself. There is no room for error as you are performing in front of a live audience,” Gautam said in a statement. Gautam Rode shares FIRST LOOK as Kathak Dancer from his play 'Aarohi Gatuam Rode Slaying with his hotness in all his roles on the small screen, the actor has never tried hands at dancing and definitely not classical dance form and he's clearly excited to now play a kathak dancer. “I am not a dancer. In fact, I have no formal training in dance. I hesitated when the play came to me wondering if this will be my cup of tea or not" -added Gautam. “The last couple of months I have been training in and learning Kathak. What makes it all the more challenging is that I have a two-minute performance with Dhani Jhankal, who is playing the role of younger Aarohi and she has been training in Kathak since the age of two" -Gautam The play is centred around four actors which includes Gautam, Dhani, Ravi Jhankal and Mita Vasisht.

Gautam's wife Pankhuri Awasthy is already in headlines currently for her comeback after two years break on TV and who's set to play the new girl in 'Kartik Goenka' aka Mohsin Khan's life pot 5 years leap in the very popular Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. The two had tied the knot last year and the actress who's popular for her roles of 'Razia Sultan' in 'Razia Sultan', 'Draupadi' in husband and then co-star Gautam Rode's 'Suryaputra Karn' and lead role in 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka?' said, "I am glad to be trying my hand at a different genre...in a show which already has an established audience. It ups the responsibility, but I take that in my stride" -commenting on her entry in YRKKH.
