1. Shark Tank Season 2 
The popular reality TV show, which airs on Sony TV, made its comeback with a new season on January 2. The show features entrepreneurs presenting their business models to a group of ‘sharks’ - judge panel - and persuade them to fund their startups. However, it is not so easy to acquire funding with such extraordinary ideas and heated debates. The first season of the show was quite popular.

2. MasterChef India Season 7 
This new season started airing on Sony TV instead of Star Plus on January 2. The judging panel includes chefs Vikas Khana, Ranveer Brar along with Garima Arora this time. The concept behind MasterChef is pretty well-known and simple - the contestants need to impress the judges with their culinary skills and tackle every challenge under a time crunch in order to maintain their position in the show. 

3. Teri Meri Doriyaann
Two families - three sisters and three brothers - are bound to fall in love with one another but the real question and curiosity arise when all of their lives get entangled and the audience also tries to figure out with the siblings who will get along with whom as a partner. The serial started airing on January 4 on Star Plus.

4. Maitree 
An adaptation of Zee Telugu’s serial ‘Radhamma Kuthuru,’ the story revolves around two girls, their childhood friendship and promises. However, there are twists and turns that test this friendship as they grow up. The new Zee TV show will start airing on February 7. 

5. Ishq Mein Ghayal
A new supernatural TV show on Colors TV after the popularity of ‘Naagin,’ ‘Ishq Mein Ghayal’ can be considered an Indian adaptation of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ but with werewolves. Isha is stuck in a love triangle with two brothers, who are not even humans but a supernatural species, and has to navigate through her feelings and the mysteries which surround them. 

6. Meri Saas Bhoot Hai (MSBH) 
MSBH is a new serial airing from January 23 on Star Bharat at 7:30pm. The conventional saas-bahu drama is seen in almost each and every Indian daily soap but this show adds a little twist to that plot with the saas tormenting her bahu in the form of a ghost. It is quite a humorous and lighthearted escape for anyone.  

7. Chhalang 
In our society, girls are still held back by societal norms from pursuing higher studies or career opportunities. This is what ‘Chhalang’ is about - Radhika, a young girl who has big dreams but no chance of achieving them because that’s what society has decided for girls. However, Radhika isn’t someone who gives up that easily either as she is determined to persuade her father into letting her go to Mumbai.
