EX Bigg Boss Contestant Jasleen Matharu Finds Love In Bhopal-Based Surgeon, Anup Jalota Plays Cupid

Jasleen Matharu's boyfriend is awaiting divorce from his wife, whom he married last year.

New Delhi: Jasleen Matharu, who shot to fame after participating in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 12’, is in love. The singer grabbed a lot of eyeballs when she entered the ‘BB 12’ house with Anup Jalota. She told Salman that she was in a relationship with Bhajan maestro but later said that she played a ‘stupid prank’ on the premiere episode. Love is in the air for Jasleen as she is dating Dr. Abhinit Gupta, who is based in Bhopal. Interestingly, her mentor Anup Jalota introduced the two of them over the phone and played the cupid. Abhinit tied the knot last year but his marriage only lasted 1-2 weeks. The surgeon is currently awaiting divorce from his wife. Jasleen, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that she has no plans of getting married anytime soon. "Look, Abhinit has been crystal clear with me. I know everything about that matter. There are no apprehensions from my side. But we are definitely not getting married soon. One, Abhinit's divorce has to come through. Two, I need to concentrate on my career as far as my immediate future is concerned,” Jasleen told ETimes.

Jasleen, who went to Bhopal to shoot a music video, also said that she is looking to do TV shows like ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ or Nach Baliye’. ‘Nach Baliye 10’ is all set to go on air in the next two months and it would be interesting to see the Punjabi beauty shake a leg on the dance floor wih her beau. "I am looking forward to doing TV shows- be it reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi or Nach Baliye or be it fiction. I am also open to movies and web shows," she told the portal. Jasleen's mother shared a picture of her daughter and Abhinit on her Instagram handle. She addressed Abhinit as her son-in-law. The caption for the post read, "My Daughter and Son in law The loveliest couple ever. God bless u both."

The report also said that Jasleen's film ‘Vo Meri Student Hai’, which also stars Anup Jalota, has got stuck due to the COVID-19 crisis. On the professional front, Jasleen was last seen in Paras Chhabra and Shehnaaz Gill’s ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’. Watch this space for more updates!
