EX Bigg Boss Contestant Jasleen Matharu's Father Gets Extortion Call & Death Threats

Bigg Boss 12 contestant Jasleen Matharu's dad received death and extortion threats for an unknown caller.

New Delhi: Jasleen Matharu, who grabbed a lot of eyeballs with her relationship with Anup Jalota in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 12’, is under lockdown after her family received an extortion and death threat. The singer’s father Kesar Matharu, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that a caller threatened to kill his family if he didn’t give him Rs 25 lakh. "Threat calls mujhe aaye hai, Jasleen ko nahi. Police uske baad dekhne aayi thi to check my building security. Woh aadmi mujhe aur meri family ko maar dene ki dhamki de raha tha. The call came more than once,” Kesar told SpotboyE. Jasleen’s dad has filed a complaint against the caller at Oshiwara station. Jasleen, who was recently seen as a contestant in Colors TV’s ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’, hasn’t stepped out of her house since her elimination from the show. The singer has not stirred out of her home post her interviews with the media on March 12, the report added.
Jasleen made her headlines when she entered ‘Bigg Boss 12’ with Anup Jalota. She told Salman Khan that she was in a relationship with the Bhajan maestro on the opening episode of ‘BB 12’. Taking a U-turn, she later said that she played a ‘stupid prank’ on the premiere episode.
