EX Bigg Boss Contestant Ajaz Khan Gets Bail In Objectionable Post Case, Tweets ‘Justice Has Prevailed’
Ajaz Khan was arrested for making objectionable comments during a Facebook live session.
New Delhi: Former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Ajaz Khan was granted bail on Friday (April 24) by Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate Court on a surety of Rs 1 lakh. The actor, who has his own fair share of controversies, was arrested by the police for making objectionable comments during a Facebook live session.
A case was registered against Ajaz Khan at Khar Police station for indulging in acts of hate speech, defamation and violation of prohibitory orders. The actor has been charged under section 153A and others of the IPC for promoting enmity among communities, as per a report in PTI.
Ajaz took to Twitter to thank his followers after getting bail. He also expressed gratitude towards his lawyers and said that ‘justice has been prevailed’.
“Thank you for all your prayers & good wishes. Justice has been prevailed. My gratitude to my lawyers Nazneen Khatri and Zoheb Shaikh. #LoveYouAll,” the ‘Bigg Boss 7’ contestant tweeted.
Ajaz Khan, who has worked in films like 'Rakhta Charitra' and 'Allah Ke Banday', was earlier arrested in July last year for allegedly creating and uploading 'objectionable' videos on social media platforms. In October 2018, he was arrested for possessing banned narcotic substance by Anti Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai police. Watch this space for more updates!Thank you for all your prayers & good wishes.
