‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ Actress Puja Banerjee Pregnant; Says ‘Hoping To Do My Pheras With Kunal After The Baby Arrives’

The ‘Devon Ke Dev Mahadev’ actress Puja Banerjee got married to the love of her life Kunal Verma earlier this year. The couple had plans of having a proper ritual wedding but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the couple had to cancel all their plans of ceremonies and opt for a registered marriage. However, the couple is beaming with as they have another good news to share to the world. Puja and Kunal are expecting their first child and their joy knows no bound. While speaking to one of the leading dailies, the actress shared their excitement of adding a new member to the family and said that she is in a happy space right now. She was quoted saying, “Yes, Kunal and I are excited about entering this new, beautiful phase in our lives. I am in a happy space now and have been enjoying my personal time. In fact, I have not stepped out of my apartment since April.” When questioned about their traditional wedding, Puja revealed that the couple is planning to do their pheras after the baby’s arrival and she hopes that her mother will also be able to attend it. She added, “We had a lot of dreams for our wedding and had planned everything to the T. However, the pandemic changed everything and even my mother, who lives in Kolkata, could not attend our registered wedding. I am hoping to have a regular ceremony and do my pheras with Kunal after the baby arrives. Hopefully, my mother will also be able to attend it.” Puja Banerjee also spoke about her exit from the show ‘Jag Janani Vaishno Devi’ and revealed that she is planning to resume her work from next year as currently precautions are very important. She further went on to add that she would have worked even during pregnancy but due to the coronavirus pandemic, she is refraining herself from doing so. Watch this space for more updates.
