Dalljiet Kaur Tells Nikhil Patel 'I Refuse To Be Bullied By You', Asks Him To Appear Before Police: 'You Are On The Wrong Side Of The Law'

Actor Dalljiet Kaur recently posted a note on Instagram, criticizing her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, and accusing him of being "on the wrong side of the law."

Actor Dalljiet Kaur recently posted a note on Instagram, criticizing her estranged husband, Nikhil Patel, and accusing him of being "on the wrong side of the law." In her Instagram Stories, Dalljiet urged Nikhil to respond to the FIR filed against him by the Agripada Police Station, stating that she refuses to be "bullied" by him any longer. This comes after Nikhil publicly claimed that their marriage was not legally binding.

What Dalljiet wrote

Dalljiet wrote, "Please respond to the FIR registered against you by the Mumbai Police, Nikhil Patel. You have publicly acknowledged receiving it. It's time you contact them and provide the acknowledgment they've been seeking through emails and WhatsApp."

She continued, "You are on the wrong side of the law by dodging them ever since you received the FIR informed directly by the investigating officer of the Agripada police station. After the FIR is lodged and you are sent the copy, you are supposed to immediately go to the police station and meet the police according to the Indian law. It's time you take a flight to India to meet the police and tell them what you told the paid PR today. #Justice I refuse to be bullied by you anymore @mumbaipolice @indian. police.services."

Nikhil Patel's statement

Nikhil recently issued a statement, part of which read, "We lived together in Kenya as a family until January 2024 when she returned to India with Jaydon. Our celebration in India was never intended to be, nor was it, a 'legal' marriage ceremony. For Dalljiet to suggest that we entered a legal union is deliberately misleading and solely meant to support her portrayal as a victim."

Dalljiet and Nikhil's relationship

Dalljiet married Kenya-based entrepreneur Nikhil last year and moved to Kenya, but she returned to Mumbai with her son Jaydon after accusing him of infidelity. The couple announced their separation in May 2024. In recent months, Dalljiet has shared multiple Instagram posts hinting at Nikhil's extramarital affair, following which he sent her a legal notice.

Dalljiet was previously married to actor Shalin Bhanot from 2009 to 2015, and they share a 10-year-old son, Jaydon. She is known for her roles in TV shows such as 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' and 'Kaala Teeka'.
