TikTok star Faisal Shaikh, who has also featured in various music videos, is in trouble for shooting a video outdoor amid Coronavirus lockdown.

New Delhi: The ongoing novel Coronavirus outbreak has changed the functioning of many countries all over the world including India. As a preventive measure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced announce the lockdown of 21 days till April 14. However there are people who aren't staying at their home and are breaking rules. TikTok star Faisal Shaikh, who owns a huge fan-following on social media and has also featured in various music videos, is now in trouble for shooting a video outdoor amid lockdown.
An advocate named Ali Kaashif Khan has filed a written complaint against Faisal Shaikh at the Amboli Police Station and the Cyber Crime Cell stating that the video might influence his fans to step out during the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown. Speaking about the same, the lawyer told a leading daily that, "In the video, which Faisal uploaded three days ago, he can be seen venturing out of his building and mouthing a popular Nawazuddin Siddiqui dialogue — ‘Maut ko chhookar tak se wapas aa sakta hoon’. At a time like this, we should be ensuring everyone’s safety by practising social distancing. Instead, Faisal, who is an influencer with so many people following him in India and abroad, is provoking others. There was also another video featuring Faisal along with Hasnain Khan, Sohail and Faiz Baloch out on the streets. I have also mentioned them in my complaint, but they have claimed that their videos are old. Faisal has now deleted the video, but the damage is done." This is not the first time when Faisal Shaikh's name has got embroiled in controversy. Faisal made headlines last year as well when his TikTok account got suspended for posting an objectionable video and a police complaint was filed against him. Interestingly, advocate Ali Kaashif Khan was the one who helped him in getting bail. Speaking about filing complaint against Faisal & his friends after representing them last year, Khan further told TOI that, "Yes, I represented them as a lawyer and my association with them ended after they secured bail. Yesterday, when a friend showed me their videos, I immediately submitted a complaint, as coronavirus is deadly and people shouldn’t follow their actions blindly. Their TikTok account was reactivated only this month, and within days, they posted a video like this." However, Faisal Shaikh is yet to react on the same. Speaking about the Coronavirus outbreak, the total number of positive cases in India rose to 1716 on Wednesday including 150 recoveries and 35 deaths. Keep watching this space for more updates!
