Confirming the same, Arti informed a leading daily that, "My birthday falls on April 5 and I was scheduled to fly on March 27, along with my mother. It’s been my dream to make my mother travel the world and this seemed like a perfect trip. However, given the current situation and as a responsible citizen, it is our duty to stay indoors and avoid travel. I am postponing this trip as I want to ensure the safety of my mother, my family and those around us."
Arti Singh was locked inside the 'Bigg Boss' house for around four months and has no qualms in staying at her home in self-quarantine.
Speaking about the same, she further told TOI that, "I like to stay home all by myself. I don’t meet a lot of people and prefer having some me-time. So, staying alone doesn’t bother me. What needs to be realised is that this social distancing is for our own safety. So, one shouldn’t be complaining about staying home. I am making most of this time by cooking, working out and watching my favourite shows."
On the career front, she made her TV debut with Zee TV's 'Maayka' in 2007 and went on to feature in various popular shows including 'Parichay', 'Uttaran', 'Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev', 'Comedy Classes', 'Sasural Simar Ka', 'Waaris' and 'Udaan'.
