Cold War On Sets Of Anupamaa? Sudhanshu Pandey Clears The Air

The rumours of rift between Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey on the sets of 'Anupamaa' have set several tongues wagging.

Mumbai: Star Plus’ ‘Anupamaa’, which is the numero uno show on Indian television, has remained in headlines due to the off-screen drama. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey have formed their own respective groups, which led to a cold war on the sets.

The rumours of tension between the two leads have set several tongues wagging as the family drama is doing quite well in terms of TRPs. Media reports suggested that Rupali, Aashish Mehrotra, Muskan Bamne and Alpana Buch are part of one group while Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Paras Kalnawat and Anagha Bhonsale have formed another group.

Speculations about rife between Sudhanshu and Rupali gained momentum when the former didn’t tag the actress in a promo, which he shared on social media.

Sudhanshu, while talking to a leading daily, has squashed all the rumours. He said that he generally copies the link he receives from people and shares it on Instagram and Twitter.  He expressed his displeasure over the fuss about tagging someone on Instagram.

Pandey told Times Of India that he is friends with Rupali Ganguly and there’s nothing wrong between them. He said that ‘rift or cold war’ are ‘too strong’ words to be used.

He further told the daily that difference of opinion between two actors is common and can take place anytime. The talented actor, who is seen as Vanraj in ‘Anupamaa’, has finally put an end to the speculations about the rift on the sets of show.

Talking about ‘Anupamaa’, the show is the Hindi remake of Bengali drama ‘Sreemoyee’. The daily soap managed to win the hearts of the show with its storyline and impeccable performance of the actors.

‘Anupaam’ has been topping the TRP charts for several months, barring two weeks. ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ had dethroned ‘Anupamaa’ from the top slot but the latter climbed back to the number one position soon.
