'Chandrakanta' actor & Yami Gautam have romanced before.. Did you know?

Everybody knows that the stunner who floored us with her acting in Hrithik Roshan's 'Kaabil' recently, had actually began her career with doing TV shows. Yami did handful of shows on small screen and rose to fame with her lead role in a Colors show, the last she did as a TV actress before foraying into Bollywood. Yami played the role of very bubbly 'Leher Mathur Vajpayee', a Kayasth girl in colors show called 'Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam' who falls in love with the brahmin guy named 'Abeer Bajpayee'. Set in Lucknow, the story was set against the background of caste politics and class differences and the lead pair of this show was hugely loved by the audiences back in 2009. Gaurav and Yami had a crackling chemistry on the show. Yami-Gaurav in 'Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam' You would have guessed by now that the 'Abeer' is the very same guy who's playing the lead role of 'Virendra Singh' in 'Prem ya paheli - Chandrakanta', starring Kritika Kamra in the title role. 'Chandrakanta' hit the smalls screen this weekend itself and will now air every Saturday-Sunday at 9pm on Life OK.
