New Delhi: One of India's most popular television programmes is Bigg Boss. ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 7’ premiered in the midst of the excitement surrounding Bigg Boss Hindi season 17. The reality programme, hosted by Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, will launch with 22 participants. Many names have been floated about on social media as potential contestants, and viewers are anxious to hear the final names. So, let’s look at the list of famous faces who have been officially announced to compete in Bigg Boss Telugu 7.

Priyanka Jain

The first contestant of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu 7’ is the TV actress Priyanka Jain, known for her roles in ‘Mounaraagam’ and ‘Janaki Kalaganaledu’.

Farzana

The year 2006 was Farzana's first appearance in a feature film. A few years later, she got into the spotlight because of her performance in the film ‘Seema Shastri’. 

​Mahesh Achanta​

Mahesh is currently one of the most well-known comedians in Telugu film industry. The actor's performance in ‘Rangasthalam’ is widely regarded as a career high point.

Tasty Teja​

Tasty Teja is a popular Indian actor and YouTuber who mainly appears in Telugu-language media. His 'Tasty Teja' streaming channel has gained a large following.

Shobha Shetty​

The Kannada-based Telugu actress 'Dr. Monitha' was a fan favourite during her time on the Telugu daily soap ‘Karthika Deepam’. 

Amardeep Chowdary

Amardeep Chowdary is also among the list of well-known people involved. In 2016, the dancer-turned-actor debuted in the short film ‘Parinayam,’ which marked the beginning of his cinematic career. 

Sivaji 

Sivaji Sontineni​ is well-known as an actor, politician, and dubbing artist. The actor shot to fame after appearing in a string of successful films, including ‘Missamma’, ‘Ammayi Bagundi’, ‘Tata Birla’ and many more. At 47 years old, he is now making a comeback to the public eye as a participant in Bigg Boss.

Shakeela 

Shakeela had a prolific film career, especially in the South Indian languages of Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. 

Aata Sandeep

Sandeep Reddy, also known as Aata Sandeep, is a dancer and choreographer who shot to stardom after appearing on the dance reality programme. 

Kiran Rathod​

Kiran Rathod is a popular Indian actress and model who has mostly appeared in films made in Tamil and Telugu. Bollywood was another arena in which Kiran Rathod experimented; she had roles in films like ‘Yaadein’ and ‘Souten: The Other Woman.’

Abbas

Abbas is a well-known name in both the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries, proving his versatility as an actor. It wasn't until 1996's ‘Kadhal Desam’ that he was finally able to break into Tamil cinema as an actor. 

Playback singer LV Revanth won season 6 of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu.

While Bigg Boss OTT 2 and Season 16 were huge hits, Bigg Boss Hindi Season 17 is also about to premiere. Salman Khan will, like he does every year, serve as the show's host.
