New Delhi: Salman Khan-hosted reality show 'Bigg Boss 17' was graced by the presence of iconic Bollywood actor Dharmendra in the New Year special episode. Dharmendra came as a special guest and the show turned out to be a hilarious experience for fans.  The most exciting part of the episode was when participant Samarth Jurel, well known as Chintu, imitated the famous actor on the spot.

Salman Khan surprised the housemates of Bigg Boss 17 with a fantastic New Year's gift. Salman welcomed Dharmendra to ring in the New Year. The actor greeted the contestants saying,  “Andar waalo, bahut saari duaayein aur naye saal ki mubaarakbaad. (Housemates, many many blessings and Happy New Year).”

As the housemates went wild seeing Dharmendra, Salman asked Samarth if he could mimic the legendary actor. After that, the Bigg Boss 17 contestant pulled off a fantastic impersonation of Dharmendra.

He also brought up Dharmendra’s famous kissing scene from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. Dharmendra also grinned and said, "Smart boy!" in response to the mimicry.

Soon after Samarth completed imitating Dharmendra, Salman Khan accused him of doing the same on television. Samarth responded with grace, "Sorry Sir, mai toh bol raha hu chhota baccha samajh kar maaf kar do (Forgive me considering  a small boy)."

Earlier this month, Dharmendra marked his 88th birthday. He was last seen in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', directed by Karan Johar.

Bigg Boss 17 airs every Monday to Friday at 10:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm on Colors, with a 24-hour LIVE channel on JioCinema.
