Bigg Boss 16: Archana Begs Shiv To Let Her Stay, Gauahar, Rajiv And Other Ex-Contestants Feel She Was Instigated By Shiv

New Delhi: Thursday’s episode saw one of the biggest fights of Bigg Boss 16 between Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam. Archana got physically violent and held Shiv’s neck and scratched him with her nails after he made a personal comment.  

After the fight, Shiv was summoned to the confession room and asked to decide Archana’s fate and he decides to evict her. Archana was then called inside and after listening to her stance, Bigg Boss announces that she has been evicted. She started crying and apologised to Shiv with folded hands to rethink his decision. 

Before leaving the house, she begs Shiv again to give her a second chance and forgive her but Shiv was firm on his decision. 

The whole drama inside the house and Archana’s exit have led to strong reactions from many ex-Bigg Boss contestants.  

Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan took to Twitter and said that Archana fell for Shiv’s “extreme provocation and bullying." “Raat se planning shuru thi. Safal ho gaya Shiv! Archana gave him what he wanted in a silver platter. Silly girl. Fell for his extreme provocation and bullying." (sic) 

In another tweet, she wrote, “And by the way, Archana did poke her nails in Shiv’s neck, it wasn’t just a push! Provocation is part of the game, it’s a test of your will power. Absolutely should’ve been eliminated." 

Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee also felt Archana was provoked by Shiv. She wrote, “Played well #ArchanaGuatam. You were strong. So that they had to provoke & conspire to get you out of the house. Also keeping the ego aside you begged to stay inside the house won my heart.God bless you & keep shining @BiggBoss #BB16.” 

Bigg Boss 15 contestant Rajiv Adatia wrote a series of tweets stating that what Archana did was wrong but Shiv was equally wrong for provoking her. He also pointed out that in the previous seasons many contestants got physical but were not evicted and Archana also deserves a second chance. He also felt that Shiv didn’t change his decision because of his group’s reaction. 

Bigg Boss 14 runner-up Rahul Vaidya too feels that Archana was one of the strongest contestants and without her, the show will be dull. He tweeted, "I am hearing Archana Gautam has hit Shiv! It’s absolutely not done! So big boss is right to evict her.But the fact also is that’s she is d most entertaining contestant by far & talks so much sense most of d times & d show will be flat without her! I think she will be called back."

He also wrote, "Shiv is not wrong ! If he has gotten your provoking point he will provoke you! That’s the game. But why were Nimrit & Shalin becoming Saste Waqeels ??!! Aree bhai jisko kharoncha hai wo kuch nahi bol raha aap kyun itna cheek rahe ho ?? "

There is a strong buzz that Archana will be back in the show on this Weekend Ka Vaar.
