New Delhi: The wait is finally over! Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 14’ is all set to hit the airwaves from October 3 on Colors channel. The popular reality show has been making waves ever since the first teaser was unveiled last month. Ardent fans of the show are quite excited to see which celebrities will get locked inside the ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ house. Speculations are rife that the likes of Vivian Dsena, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra punia, Akanksha Puri have been approached for the new season. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestants would stay under quarantine before the show’s grand premiere next month. Yes, you read that right! According to a report in a leading daily, the contestants of the show would undergo a COVID-19 test before observing quarantine at a hotel near Mumbai’s Film City. They will be again tested for novel Coronavirus before making their way inside the ‘BB 14’ house, the report added.

"The makers have roped in 15 contestants this year, hoping that more people will result in more drama. The participants will be tested for the virus before they practise self-quarantine at a hotel near Film City. After 11 days, they will again undergo a COVID test before entering the Bigg Boss house on October 1," a source told Mid-Day. Interestingly, Salman Khan will shoot for grand premiere episode of ‘Bigg Boss 14’ on October 1, two days before the telecast. The makers have reportedly decided to shoot the first episode in advance keeping in mind the unprecedented times. ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner Sidharth Shukla will reportedly host a special segment during the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode of ‘Bigg Boss 14’.
