New Delhi: ‘Bigg Boss’ fans have not been able to control their excitement ever since the first promo of the new season was unveiled last month. The popular reality show will soon hit the airwaves on Colors channel. After a blockbuster ‘BB 13’, the makers are gearing up for the launch of ‘Bigg Boss 14’. The last season of the show had managed to grab several eyeballs throughout its four-and-a-half month stint on the small screen. We had earlier informed you that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will shoot for the opening episode of ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ on October 1, few days before the telecast. The makers of the show have taken the decision due to the unprecedented times. The grand premiere episode of ‘Bigg Boss’ is usually shot a day before the telecast. As per the latest buzz, the makers have roped in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ winner Sidharth Shukla to host a special segment in ‘Bigg Boss 14’. Yes, you read that right! According to a report in an entertainment portal, the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actor will monitor the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestants and then give his opinion on the performance inside the ‘BB 14’ house. Sounds interesting, isn’t it? “Sidharth’s role in the show will be associated with this season’s theme – 'Karara Jawab'. He will be monitoring the contestants from outside and will give his comments / opinions on their performance inside the house. The makers are still discussing the format with the actor and once everything gets finalised, they will announce it soon,” a source told Peepingmoon.

Sidharth Shukla recently featured in the music video titled ‘Dil Ko Karaar Aya’ opposite Neha Sharma. It was rumoured that Neha would also participate in ‘Bigg Boss 2020’. However, she squashed the speculations on Twitter.

Talking about the show, several popular names including Vivian Dsena, Jasmin Bhasin, Akanksha Puri, Pavitra Punia and Nishan Malkani have been reportedly approached for ‘Bigg Boss 14’. It would be interesting to see which contestants get locked inside the ‘BB 14’ house. Will the new season be able to match the popularity of ‘Bigg Boss 13’? Only time will tell.
