'Bigg Boss 12' Contestant & Dipika Kakar's 'Kahaan Hum' Co-Star Romil Chaudhary To Make His Bollywood Debut

Romil Chaudhary, who became a household name after participating in 'Bigg Boss 12', is all set to make his silver screen debut.

'Bigg Boss 12' commoner contestant Romil Chaudhary, who emerged as one of the finalists of the show, is all set to make his Bollywood debut in 2021. Romit shot to fame after participating in Salman Khan's 'Bigg Boss 12', which aired on Colors channel. Chaudhary entered the 'BB 12' house along with Nirmal Singh as the show followed the concept of 'Vichitra Jodi' in its twelfth season. Romil, while talking to a leading daily, revealed that he is currently busy shooting for a web show and a film. He added that he has resumed work for his upcoming projects. "For me, 2021 is already special because I’m shooting for a web show as well as a Bollywood movie, which will soon be announced. I have done TV and now, I feel the time is right to make my debut on another medium. I want to connect with newer audiences this year," the 'Bigg Boss 12' third runner-up told Times Of India.

For the uninitiated, Romil made his acting debut with Dipika Kakkar and Karan V Grover starrer 'Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum'. Dipika and Romil, who were arch rivals in 'Bigg Boss 12', shared screen-space in the popular Star Plus daily soap. He played the role of Dipika's on-screen former boyfriend in 'KHKT', which went off air last year. Roshmi Banik was seen in the spin-off of 'Ishq Subhan Allah' while Somi Khan will be seen in the gangster drama 'Bombay 5'. Talking about 'Bigg Boss', the new season of the show is currently entertaining the viewers with its drama-packed episodes. Popular TV stars Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Aly Goni and Eijaz Khan are participating in 'Bigg Boss 14'.
