‘Bigg Boss 11’ Contestant Arshi Khan Opens Up On Controversies Surrounding The Show; Says ‘It Exists Because Public Likes Watching These Things’

New Delhi: Arshi Khan started her career initially by acting in theatres and went on to become one of the participants of the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ in its 11th season. She had also joined Indian National Congress but resigned due to professional commitments. She made her debut in the Hindi film industry with the movie ‘The Last Emperor’ and with ‘Malli Mishtu’ in the Tamil film industry. She also portrayed the role of ‘Nayantara’ in the show ‘Savitri Devi College & Hospital’.

Recently, while interacting with IANS, the actress opened up about the controversies surrounding the show. She was quoted saying by IANS, “I feel bad when someone makes a personal attack against another contestant on the show but you can't do anything about it because the public likes to watch these things.”
She added, “I have not been able to follow this season's 'Bigg Boss' but I have watched a few episodes. It has just started, so we will see what happens in the coming days. I think the relationship among contestants changes every week in 'Bigg Boss' house, so you can't predict what is going to happen.”
When asked about her upcoming projects, the actress told, “I can't reveal much about it but I guess we will make an official announcement on October 17 or 18.”
The 14th season of Salman Khan’s show ‘Bigg Boss’ witnessed some major clashes involving the Toofani seniors Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan and some of the contestants including Nikki Tamboli, Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Nishant Singh Malkani, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, and Sara Gurpal.
Meanwhile, for ‘Bigg Boss 14’, Salman Khan has taken a huge pay cut in order to let the other contestants and crew members get paid. According to media reports, the show is being shot in the middle of the pandemic, so that it can generate jobs Salman Khan says, which is why he agreed to work on another season.
