The tension began to escalate when Asim labelled co-contestants as ‘losers.’ Rohit Shetty, known for his no-nonsense attitude, issued a stern warning, stating, “Utha ke yahi patak dunga (I will thrash you right here).” Asim's behavior was deemed unacceptable, leading to his immediate removal from the show.
Asim accuses makers of setting impossible task
The spark for this confrontation was a task involving Asim, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani. Asim failed to do the task, prompting criticism from his co-contestants.
Asim defended himself by accusing the show of setting an unachievable task. He challenged the credibility of the task, saying, “Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee, camera is on.” Rohit responded by showing a rehearsal video where the task was successfully completed by the show’s team, adhering to all safety protocols.

Seeing the proof, Asim reluctantly accepted the challenge's validity but continued to argue, leading Rohit to lose his temper. “Sun meri baat sunle varna mei utha ke yahi patak dunga. Aise mere se badtameezi nahi karna (Listen to me, otherwise I will thrash you here. Don’t behave badly here),” warned Rohit.
The situation further escalated when Asim approached Rohit, ignoring warnings from another contestant, Abhishek Kumar. Asim lashed out, shouting, “Don’t f**k with me. I’m 31 years old and have been 15 years in the industry. Who are you talking about? You just got famous.” Abhishek asked Asim “is he jealous?”, to which Asim responded with more aggressive remarks.
Asim calls other contestants 'losers'
As the confrontation heated up, the show's team intervened to calm Asim, who said, “The money that you guys are giving me, I earn triple of it. I have so much money you can’t even imagine. I change four cars within six months. Do you think I need that money? It is for the fans I was here, not for these losers,” he ranted.
Calling the other contestants ‘losers’ incited Abhishek’s anger, leading to Asim charging at him with a shoe.

Asim Riaz expelled
Post the incident, Rohit Shetty expressed his shock, stating he had never witnessed such behavior in his 10 years of hosting the show. “It was a shock to me,” he said. He then informed the contestants about Asim’s expulsion, wishing him luck but saying that such behavior was unacceptable. “I wish him all the luck but now he can’t continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success,” Rohit concluded.
After the show was aired, Asim’s fans took to X and defended him while others called him “arrogant.”
