Popular television actor Arjun Bijlani is set to undergo surgery on Saturday following his hospitalisation due to severe abdominal pain.
New Delhi: Popular television actor Arjun Bijlani is set to undergo surgery on Saturday following his hospitalisation due to severe abdominal pain. The actor was notably absent from his show's set on Friday due to the intensity of the pain.
"I am admitted to the hospital due to severe stomach pain. I am right now going for an X-ray. The doctors are going to perform an emergency surgery tomorrow morning,” he was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Suffering from severe lower right abdominal pain, he was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Arjun shared a picture from the hospital on his Instagram stories. The picture shows him on hospital bed with a closeup of his hand featuring a visible cannula. The caption read, "Jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai (Whatever happens is for the good)."
He also posted a video celebrating Shiv Ratri with the caption, "#mahashivratri ki dher saari shubhkamnaen (Best wishes)!! Wish me luck !! #omnamahshivaya."
