While the duo has largely stayed away from commenting, Aishwarya has now issued a strongly worded statement, addressing the ongoing rumours and calling out the spread of misinformation.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Thursday, the 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin' actress wrote, “I have been silent for a long time. Not because I am weak but because I have been protecting my peace. But the way some of you continue to write things I have never said, build narratives I have never endorsed and use my name for your own publicity without facts or accountability is deeply painful."
Making her stand clear, she added, “Let me be clear: I have not given any interviews, statements or recordings. If you have any real proof, any message audio or video of me saying these things, show it stop spreading news in my name."
She further reminded people that her private life isn’t up for grabs, “My life is not your content. My silence is not your permission. Please remember just because someone is quiet doesn’t mean they have nothing to say it means they are choosing dignity over noise."

Earlier this year, Aishwarya had spoken fondly of Neil in an interview with ETimes, praising the way he grounds her and handles their relationship.
“By now, everybody is aware that Neil knows how to handle me and helps me understand things when I am in doubt. Of course, I have a mind of my own and may not agree with everything. Neil solves all the problems because he is the mature one and I am childlike. I like the attention he showers upon me,” she had said on Valentine’s Day.
