‘Tandav’ Director Ali Abbas Zafar Gets Married; Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif And Others Send In Congratulatory Messages

Ali Abbas Zafar recently tied the knot in a private ceremony. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ director took to his social media recently and shared a glimpse from his special day.

New Delhi: Bollywood filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is known for directing movies like ‘Sultan’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bharat’ and others. Ali is all set to make his digital debut with the Saif Ali Khan starrer political drama web series, ‘Tandav’. Ahead of its trailer release earlier today, the ‘Gunday’ director took to his social media and shared another great news. AB HOGA TANDAV! The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ director took to his Instagram recently and shared a glimpse from his special day. The filmmaker shared a picture of him holding his wife’s hands as the bride can be seen donning gorgeous hand jewellery. Sharing the picture, Ali wrote, “Bismillah”.
Though Ali has not yet revealed anything about his marriage, many celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Arjun Kapoor, Sunil Grover and others started dropping congratulatory messages to the newly-weds. Katrina Kaif wrote, ‘Congratulations to u both’. Ranveer Singh dropped a comment which read, ‘Congratulations Bhai !’. Sunil Grover who will be next seen starring in ‘Tandav’ also commented, ‘Congratulationssssssssss!!!!’. Arjun Kapoor wrote, ‘Jeh baat....’. Ali Abbas Zafar entered the Hindi film industry as an assistant director for Yash Raj Films (YRF). He made his directorial debut with the 2011 romantic comedy ‘Mere Brother KI Dulhan’ which starred Katrina Kaif and Imraan Khan in the lead roles. He then went on to direct other movies including ‘Sultan’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Gunday’ among others. Meanwhile, his upcoming web series ‘Tandav’ stars Saif Ali Khan in the lead role of the protagonist. It is a political drama which takes place in the capital city of the world’s largest democracy. Comprising of 9-episodes, this series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video starting January 15, 2021.
