New Delhi: The much anticipated Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj film Thalaivar 171's final title has been unveiled. Titled 'Coolie', the makers also treated fans with the teaser of this Rajinikanth cinematic universe piece. Shot in monochrome, the 'Coolie' teaser has the best mix of Rajinikanth and Kanagaraj, all in style and swag.
Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the ‘Coolie’ title announcement and teaser with a poster on his official Instagram handle and wrote, “We love you Thalaiva @rajinikanth❤️ #Coolie 💪.”

Coolie Teaser
The monochrome teaser only highlights gold and gold watches while everything is black and white. Like the classic Kanagaraj style, 'Coolie' gives the impression of an entertaining soundtrack and features the perfect 'god shot' or the hero shot featuring Tamil superstar Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth is also seen delivering an impressive monologue sequence, in slow motion action sequences.

The makers of 'Thalaivar 171' have been teasing fans with Thalaivar 171 title reveal for quite some time. Earlier on Sunday evening, Kanagaraj had shared another poster from the series of several posters giving a glimpse of the megastar Rajinikanth or a hint of the title of the film.
'Coolie' marks Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj's first collaboration for a big film project.
Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the upcoming film which is said to star Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Shobana and perhaps Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan.
While no official announcement about the cast reveal has come from the makers, several reports and speculations about the same have been doing the rounds on several media pages.
'Thalaivar 171' release date is also yet to be announced.
