On Saturday morning, Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun returned to his Jubilee Hills residence after spending a night in Chanchalguda Jail. He had been arrested on Friday in connection with the tragic stampede incident at the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. Following his arrest, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail for four weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.

The video captures Allu Arjun being welcomed warmly by his family. His wife Sneha Reddy is seen running to embrace him, breaking down in tears as she hugged him. His children, Ayaan and Arha, also greeted him with heartfelt hugs. Sharing the video, Samantha wrote, “I am not crying, okay!” along with teary-eyed emojis.

Director Vignesh Shivan also shared the video on social media, expressing his emotions. “Waited to only see this!” he wrote, accompanied by a red heart emoji. He added, “With heartfelt condolences to the family (folded hands emoji). Very very unfortunate to go through this @alluarjunonline sir, but the way he handled this was very very mature and dignified.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Allu Arjun have previously worked together in the 2015 film Son of Sathyamurthy and the hit song Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava from Pushpa 1: The Rise. Allu Arjun had also supported Samantha earlier when she faced controversial remarks following her divorce.

The stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere on December 4 had resulted in the tragic death of a 35-year-old woman, with her son critically injured. Thousands of fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor, leading to the unfortunate chaos.
