Kalki 2898 AD Becomes Fastest India Film To Surpass $1 Million In Pre-Sales In The USA

Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD' has already set a record with its pre-release ticket sales in the US.

New Delhi: 'Kalki 2898 AD' has already created much anticipation before its release. The Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan starrer has already set a record with its pre-release ticket sales in the US. The Nag Ashwin directorial is one of the most talked-about films of the year. Looks like, there is enough buzz about the film in the US too as the film cripted a new pre-sales record in there.

Kalki 2898 AD breaks pre-sales records in USA

 

As per reports, the pre-sales for 'Kalki 2898 AD’ premiere have already begun overseas. And, in North America, the Prabhas starrer has become the fastest Indian movie to surpass $1 million in pre-sales. The film broke thies record in lesser number of days than Rajamouli's directorial 'RRR'. With more shows being added and bookings open in all major chains, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is heading towards a record-breaking pre-sales number that is only going up.

As per a Times Now report, the expected pre-sales of 'Kaliki 2898 AD' are supposed to cross the $2 million mark. 

Only recently, the trailer of 'Kalki 2898 AD' was released. Several fans and audiences shared their reviews on social media about the trailer calling it 'stunning' and likewise.

Kalki's AI-robot car Bujji has also created quite some buzz post a promotional event that gave a glimpse of the car that was designed and brought into reality with the help of industrialist Anand Mahindra. 

A separate teaser that was dedicated to Bujji was unveiled by the makers.  Bujji, the AI car has been voiced by Keerthy Suresh.

Meanwhile, 'Kalki 2898 AD" has been helmed on a budget of Rs. 600 cr, making it the most expensive Indian film till date, a record which was previously held by Brahmastra( 2022) and 'Adipurush' ( 2023), both of which were also mythological films.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is slated to be released on June 27, 2024.
