Jailer Showcase Promises Rajinikanth Will Be Back With A Bang On Screen After 2 Years
'Jailer' is all set to release in theaters on August 10.
New Delhi: South star Rajinikanth is all set to return on the big screen with Nelson Dilipkumar's 'Jailer'. The film's songs have already created a frenzy among audiences. With the release of 'Kaavaalaa' starring Tamannaah Bhatia, the hook step of the song has been trending on social media for days. As the megastar returns to screen after a gap of two years, the expectation about the film is sky high.
Recently, makers released the showcase video of 'Jailer' on Wednesday. In the showcase, it is imminent that Rajinikanth plays the character 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, a soft spoken simple guy who looks like an ordinary man. He also slashed bad guys with his sword and can become the God of justice himself when there is a need to be.
Rajinikanth plays the role of a police officer whose son goes missing and will stop at nothing to make sure that justice prevails and no further harm comes to the family. From a simple soft spoken guy, we also see the megastra's transformation into black leather jackets, sunglasses wielding guns as if they were toys and charring the landscape bloody red.
Some of Rajinkanth's looks from the 'Jailer' showcase will remind audiences of Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram' from last year.
Meanwhile, 'Jailer' also stars Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff and Shivarajkumar. All three key cast members are seen in the Jailer trailer as well. Yogi Babu is also playing a pivotal role in the film.
Jailer showcase has the obvious thrills, action and some great visuals featuring the swagger of Rajinikanth all the way.
Meanwhile, Tamannaah Bhatia is also part of the film and has expressed her excitement of sharing screen with the megastar on numerous occasions.
Directed by Nelson and produced by Kalanithi Muran in association with Sun Pictures, 'Jailer' is all set to release in theaters on August 10.
