The singer was seen performing rituals and offering prayers at the shrine. However, his visit created a stir among netizens online who noted the VIP treatment he received. Honey Singh, who is currently in a nationwide concert tour as part of the 'Millionaire India Tour' has already performed in Mumbai, Lucknow and Delhi.
Honey Singh's next stop is in Indore on Saturday, and before his concert he made a spiritual stop at Ujjain's revered Mahakaleshwar Temple to seek blessings. A video of his temple visit, shared by ANI on X, has been doing the rounds on social media. In the video, we see Honey Singh being escorted inside bypassing regular devotees. The video shows Honey Singh offering prayers, and performing a puja without any disturbances.

Some netizens also pointed out the disappointment over the VIP treatment Honey Singh received at the Mahakaleshwar temple. Many questioned why he was given preferential access while others had to wait in queues for darshan.

We get our darshan after some pushing & shoving and that too in a few seconds. Not allowed to take pictures & videos. Why all protocols for us?" Another X user wrote. One X user user commented on Singh's outfit and wrote, "Why is he allowed in western dress? There is a code for men to wear dhoti in Mahakaal mandir."
