Here's How Rajnikanth's Younger Daughter Soundaryaa Reacted To Sister Aishwaryaa & Dhanush's Separation

Rajnikanth's younger daughter Soundarya, came out in solidarity with her sister by changing her display picture on Twitter.

New Delhi: Star couple Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa, who is superstar Rajnikanth's elder daughter and a director and playback singer, announced their seperation after 18 years of marital bliss on January 17, 2022. The megastar took to his social media handle to announce the seperation.

Rajnikanth's younger daughter Soundaryaa, came out in solidarity with her sister by changing her display picture on Twitter. The new profile picture shows the two sisters Aishwaryaa and Soundaryaa clinging to their father, Rajinikanth. Soundaryaa captioned the picture as,"#NewProfilePic."

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa, who tied-the-knot in November 2004, decided to seperate ways after being married for 18 years. Dhanush issued a statement that read,"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths seperate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better."

He also wrote,"Please respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this." Aishwarya also shared the same statement on her Instagram account and wrote,"No caption needed...only your understanding n your love necessary!"

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are parents to two sons, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja.

On a related note, Soundaryaa, who is a graphic designer, film producer and director, also got divorced with her first husband Ashwin Ramkumar after seven years of marriage in 2017. She later married actor Vishagan Vanangamudi in 2019.
