Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu, Himanshi Khurana & Other Celebs Hail PM Modi's Decision To Repeal Three Farm Laws
Earlier, PM Modi announced that the government has decided to repeal the three farm laws on the occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement to withdraw the three farm laws has been welcomed by all. Many celebs from the film fraternity have also hailed the decision.

Retweeting a tweet, Richa Chadha called it the farmers' victory. She wrote, "Jeet gaye aap! Aap ki jeet sab ki jeet hai (You've won. You win is everyone's win)."
Taapsee Pannu was among the first to hail the decision. She also took this as an opportunity to wish everyone on Gurunanak Jayanti. Sharing the news of PM Modi withdrawing farm laws, she wrote, "Also.. Gurpurab diyaan sab nu vadhaiyaan (sic)," with a folded hands.
Actress Shruti Seth tweeted, "So many lives lost. Such a heavy price. But proud of the farmers for holding their ground, peacefully! Jai Kisaan. Jai Hind (sic)."
Bigg Boss 13 fame Punjabi actress Himanshi Khurana took to her Instagram handle and congratulated all the farmers. "Finally victory is yours, many congratulations to all the farmers. A big gift of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Prakash Parv. Happy Gurpurab."
Earlier, PM Modi announced that the government has decided to repeal the three farm laws. Addressing the nation on the occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev, PM Modi said that in the coming Parliament session, the government will take constitutional measures to repeal these farm laws. Not just this, PM also said that the government is committed to the welfare of farmers, adding that the government has brought several welfare schemes for small farmers.
The three farm bills that is now repealed were : Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill 2020.
