New Delhi: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha seems to be sailing in troubled waters. The actress has recently landed up in a legal trouble as she has been accused of charging a hefty amount of Rs 37 lakh for attending a event in Delhi and not making an appearance later.

As per a report in a news portal, event organiser Pramod Sharma, had organised a event for which he had approached the 'Dabanng' actress to be the chief guest. However, the actress failed to attend the event, following which the event organiser asked her manager to return the money.

It is being alleged that despite the event organiser approaching Sonakshi's manager several times, for returning the money charged, he was not given the money. A complaint was filed against the actress in 2019 for committing fraud.

Sonakshi had reportedly come to Moradabad for recording her case, but owing to her continued absence after that, a non-bailable warrant has been issued against the actor. Along with this, the Moradabad Court has also directed her to be present on April 25.

Sonakshi Sinha recently began trending on social media as a photoshopped picture of her and actor Salman Khan became viral with rumours of the two tying-the-knot secretly. The photoshopped image trended big time on social media.

On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha will next be seen in 'Double XL', playing the lead alongside Huma Qureshi. She will also be seen in 'Kakuda' starring Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem.
