Salman Khan Threat: Minor Taken In Custody For Making Call To Mumbai Police, Probe Underway

Mumbai Police has taken in custody Rocky Bhai, the caller from Jodhpur who threatened to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

New Delhi: Mumbai Police has taken in custody Rocky Bhai, the caller from Jodhpur who threatened to kill Bollywood actor Salman Khan. According to sources, the caller Rocky wo proclaimed himself as a cow protector from Jodhpur, is a minor.

The Mumbai Police has taken him in custody and said that there is no seriousness in the call as Rocky is a minor. With further investigation underway, the Police is trying to find out why he made the threat call.

The caller called the police control and said that he would kill Salman Khan on 30th. Identifying himself as Rocky Bhai, he said that he hails from Jodhpur and is a cow protector there. This call was received by the control of Mumbai Police at 9 pm on Monday night. Mumbai Police has been investigating the matter.

As per an ANI tweet, "The caller who called the Mumbai Police Control in the context of threatening actor Salman Khan was taken into custody. The caller who made the threat call is a minor. There is no seriousness in this call. Further investigation is underway: Mumbai Police"

Recently, Salman Khan purchased a a stylish white bulletproof Nissan SUV amid death threats from multiple sources. He also obtained a weapons license earlier, as the Lawrence Bishnoi gang constantly threatened to kill him and his family. Salman Khan, who has already been granted Y-Plus Security coverage, is not taking any chances.

Bishnoi had even proclaimed in an interview that his life goal was to "kill Salman Khan", even as the security cover for the actor and his celeb family was stepped up a few weeks ago.

On the work front, Salman Khan will next be seen in the family drama 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' that releases on April 21. Meanwhile, Salman Khan will also be seen in the action thriller film 'Tiger 3' along side Katrina Kaif. The actor was last seen in the 2022 film Antim, directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film also featured Salman Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma. Earlier this year, he made a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan starrer spy thriller 'Pathaan'.
