Richa Chadha- Ali Fazal Wedding Is Going To Be Environmentally Conscious & Sustainable

The couple have jointly decided to put in efforts with the help of their teams who are planning their wedding to have an attempt to make their wedding more environmentally conscious and eco friendly.

New Delhi: The lovely couple who are soon to be wedded, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are known for their love for nature and the environment. The duo have been vocal on various platforms and occasions talking about conservation of the environment. 

The couple have jointly decided to put in efforts with the help of their teams who are planning their wedding to have an attempt to make their wedding more environmentally conscious and eco friendly.

The couple have roped in a wedding planning company who are using various means including decor using natural elements recycled or repurposed wood and eco friendly decor items. Richa and Ali are also focusing on reducing food wastage at all of their wedding functions by curating food experiences that are more sustainable and have experts who are known for such experiences. The teams across have been briefed to minimize plastic waste and use recyclable plastic during the functions as much as possible.

Earlier, it was reported that the couple had decided to go for a vintage-venue in Delhi. The Delhi Gymkhana club is the 110-year-old heritage building where the couple will be hosting their pre-wedding festivities. 

Richa Chadha will also have custom-made jewellery from a designer in Bikaner, apparently, a 135-year-old jewellery designer family will be doing the design for Richa’s wedding.

Richa and Ali also had unconventional wedding cards with a pop art design. Their matchbox themed card was done by Ali’s friend and read ‘Couple Matches’.

Richa and Ali have been together since they met on the shoot of 'Fukrey' in 2012. They will also be reuniting in the third installment of the film 'Fukrey 3'. Reportedly, after dating for 7 years, Ali proposed to Richa in the Maldives in 2019 and the couple was all set to marry in 2020. However, due to the pandemic, their plans got delayed and now the couple is finally set to tie the knot in 2022.
