Priyanka Chopra Calls Alaya F The Next Bollywood Superstar; Know Why
When asked who she thought will be the next big superstar, PeeCee replied, 'Alia Bhatt'. However, she soon corrected herself by saying that Alia is already a 'superstar' and then named Alaya F.
New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra is currently on the promotional spree for her upcoming web series 'Citadel' co-starring Richard Madden. The actor was recently seen at SXSW 2023, where the actor was asked about the next Bollywood superstar. While at first, Priyanka said 'Alia Bhatt', she retracted and changed to saying Alaya F.
When asked who she thought will be the next big Bollywood superstar, PeeCee replied, 'Alia Bhatt'. However, she soon corrected herself by saying that Alia is already a 'superstar' and then named 'Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat' star Alaya F.
"I really like Alaya Furniturewala, she is Pooja Bedi's daughter," the actress said and revealed, "I told her when I met her that I think she is just cool and has a unique perspective. She is not trying to be like everyone else. I think we'll find out in a few years."
During the same interaction, she also opened up about a film which is her favourite from her own filmography. When asked about her favourite film from her filmography, Priyanka said, " Barfi," and added, "As a movie, it's just so poignant and sweet, and the music is amazing. It just warms your heart, and that's the kind of cinema that I love. It moves you. And I don't really watch my movies myself, but that was one I have watched at least 2 or 3 times."
Besides 'Citadel', 'Love Again' and other Hollywood projects in the pipeline, Priyanka Chopra also has a Bollywood film 'Jee Le Zaraa' in the pipeline which stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
Meanwhile, Alaya F was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat’ alongside Karan Mehta. Alaya F was appreciated for her performance quite a lot in the film considering that it was the first film she began working on. Alaya was also seen with Katik Aaryan in Freddy.
