Pradeep Rangwani’s UV Films: Elevating Cinema With Meaningful Storytelling

In an era where commercial trends often dictate filmmaking, producer Pradeep Rangwani has carved out a unique space for himself with UV Films.

In an era where commercial trends often dictate filmmaking, producer Pradeep Rangwani has carved out a unique space for himself with UV Films, focusing on cinema that not only entertains but also sparks meaningful conversations. From the gripping murder mystery Nirdosh (2018) to the socially relevant Guthlee Ladoo (2023) and the emotionally reflective Let's Meet (2024), Rangwani has consistently championed stories that challenge perspectives and leave a lasting impact. Now, he is set to continue this tradition with his upcoming psychological action drama, PRATAP.

"At UV Films, I have always believed that cinema should not just entertain but also resonate deeply with the audience. Life itself is a collection of meaningful moments and experiences, and I strive to bring such stories to the screen—ones that leave a lasting impact. Whether addressing societal issues or exploring human relationships, my goal is to create films that connect with viewers on an emotional and intellectual level," says Pradeep Rangwani.

His past films have tackled profound and socially relevant themes. Guthlee Ladoo shed light on the importance of child education and caste-based discrimination, following the story of a young boy fighting for his right to study. Let's Meet explored the impact of fast-paced digital interactions on the mindset of today’s youth. Each project under UV Films has been designed to initiate discussions and inspire thought.

Building on this legacy, Rangwani now introduces PRATAP, a psychological action drama made for the big screen. Featuring Amit Sadh in the lead role, the film follows an encounter specialist grappling with the fine line between justice and morality. With a gripping narrative and an intense cinematic experience, PRATAP continues Rangwani's mission of blending entertainment with substance.

"My approach to filmmaking is rooted in storytelling that holds a mirror to society. 'PRATAP' is not just another film—it delves into the complexities of law, crime, and personal choices. Every film I make is a reflection of real-life emotions and struggles, and with 'PRATAP,' I aim to explore the consequences of power and justice in an intense, immersive way," adds Rangwani.

Currently in production, PRATAP is slated for a theatrical release in May 2025, with a strategic promotional campaign across digital platforms to engage audiences. With this latest venture, Pradeep Rangwani reinforces UV Films’ reputation for delivering cinema that challenges, inspires, and resonates—cementing its position as a powerhouse of thought-provoking storytelling.
