Pearl V Puri Granted Bail In Alleged Rape Case, His Lawyer Confirms

After two failed attempts Pearl V Puri has finally been granted bail on Tuesday in the alleged rape and molestation of a minor girl.

After spending 11 days in judicial custody, television actor Pearl V Puri has been granted bail in the alleged rape and molestation of a minor girl. The actor was arrested on June 4 by the Waliv police under the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) act.

Pearl's lawyer confirmed that the actor has been granted bail. He was quoted saying by a leading daily that "Yes, he has been granted bail by the Vasai Sessions Court."

Pearl's lawyer had earlier applied for bail on June 7 and the hearing was postponed. He was not given bail earlier too and after two failed attempts Puri has finally been granted bail on Tuesday.

The actor was arrested on June 4 and was sent to judicial custody he will be walking out of jail after 11 days.

Pearl is a popular face of television and has been part of several shows on television including Badatameez Dil, Nagarjuna, Bepannah Pyaar, Naagin 3 and Meri Sasu Maa. Not only this he has also been part of reality shows such as Kitchen Champion 5, Khatra Khatra Khatra and Box Cricket League 4.
