'Panchayat' Actor Chandan Roy Hints At Season 2 Of The Web-Series Coming Soon

Amazon Prime Video released a compilation of memorable moments from the web-series on their official YouTube channel on Sunday.

New Delhi: The lovers of Amazon Prime Video's hit web-series 'Panchayat' will soon be able to treat themselves to the second sesaon of the much-acclaimed family drama. Amazon Prime Video released a compilation of memorable moments from the web-series on their official YouTube channel on Sunday.

Actor Chandan Roy, who played the role of Vikas Shukla in the web-series, shared the link of the YouTube video on his Facebook page on Monday and wrote, "

मतलब साफ है “पंचायत सीजन 2” जल्दी आने को है…(The meaning is clear...'Panchayat' Season 2 will be out soon."

The video shows some of the best moments of the protagonist Jeetu Bhaiya, played by actor Jitendra Kumar, turning savage. The video was shared on Amazon Prime's official channel with the caption, "Presenting to you, a compilation consisting few the moments we can't forget where Jeetu Bhaiya is being savage. 'Panchayat' Season 1 was released in April 2020 on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and became an instant hit as audience connected with the story. The first season comprises of a total of eight episodes. 

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the web-series bagged the Filmfare OTT Award for the 'Best Comedy Show' in 2021. The actors Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav also bagged the 'Best Actor', 'Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female)' and 'Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Male)' respectively.

'Panchayat' sesaon 1 is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The subscription for the OTT platform begins at Rs. 179 for the monthly plan and Rs. 1499 for the annual plan.
