'Panchayat season 3', released on Prime Video on May 28, has been getting same amount of love from the audience as the previous two seasons. While the entire cast delivered stellar performances, Faisal Malik's portrayal of Prahlad, a man drowning in grief, has taken center stage. Following the tragic loss of his son Rahul in season 2, Prahlad's world crumbles. Malik's nuanced performance as a father grappling with unimaginable loss has resonated deeply with audiences. 

Faisal Malik recites a poem

Amid Faisal Malik’s widespread acclaim for his wonderful performance in the series, we stumbled upon a video in which the actor is reciting a comic poem ‘Imtihan Ka Bhoot’. The video, on Kommune India's YouTube channel, shows Faisal reciting the poem written by Om Prakash Aditya. The description says the poem is "actually an 'aarti' to bhagwaan by every student who is struggling with exams." The poem is a humorous prayer to appease the "exam ghost" that haunts students during exam season.

Faisal Malik plays Prahalad, Pradhan ji’s aide in the 'Panchayat' series. His character shifted gears last season from a happy-go-lucky person to a grief-stricken father. Malik portrays a quiet devastation that resonates deeply, his understated performance allows the audience to connect with Prahlad's pain. Faisal Mailk has been in the film industry for almost a decade. Before ‘Panchayat’ he has worked as an assistant director, reality show producer, and line producer in many projects. Malik also had a small role in the  2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur. Interestingly, he has co-produced films like ‘Revolver Rani’ and ‘Main aur Charles’.
